Q: What does "ski-in access" actually mean?
Ski-in means you can ski directly back to your home at the end of the day—no shuttles, no long walk-backs, and no navigating roads. While Currie Creek is not ski-in/ski-out (there's a short walk up to the lifts), the location delivers genuine on-hill convenience without the congestion, noise, and constant foot traffic of typical slopeside properties.
About Us
Q: What types of homes are available at Currie Creek?
Phase 1 offers 2-bedroom and 4-bedroom townhomes, with 3-bedroom configurations introduced in Phases 2-5. Every home is designed as an end unit with direct entry, lots of storage, personal parking, private outdoor space, and no shared hallways. Together, these features deliver the privacy of a cabin with the efficiency of a condo, supported by strong sound separation, wildfire-resistant materials, energy-efficient systems, and a construction approach that reduces delays common in mountain housing.

Q: Are the homes fully finished and move-in ready?
Yes. Homes are fully finished and ready to live in from day one. Each includes quartz countertops, matte black fixtures, Napoleon fireplaces, triple-pane windows, and energy-efficient mechanical systems. Finishes and systems are selected for durability, comfort, and low ongoing maintenance in alpine conditions—so owners aren’t inheriting projects after possession.
Our Build Process
Q: How much parking and storage does each home include?
Lower units include two dedicated driveway parking spaces, while upper units include two driveway spaces plus a single-stall heated garage. Ample visitor parking is provided throughout the community. Homes also include dedicated storage for skis, bikes, and gear, reducing clutter and making arrivals, departures, and turnovers simple and functional.

Q: How is Currie Creek designed for wildfire country?
Using construction practices developed with guidance from the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction, Currie Creek is built for wildfire country. Homes feature non-combustible exterior cladding, high-performance roof assemblies, multi-pane windows, sealed construction details to limit ember intrusion, and modern ventilation systems with high-efficiency filtration. These measures are designed to improve safety, durability, and long-term performance in alpine and wildfire-prone environments without adding ongoing maintenance complexity for owners.
Our Build Process
Q: What is off-site construction, and why does it matter?
Off-site construction means the majority of your home is built in a controlled factory environment, then transported to site and assembled on permanent foundations. This method reduces exposure to weather delays, improves quality control, shortens on-hill construction time, and delivers more predictable timelines—all critical advantages in mountain environments where traditional builds often face significant delays, cost surprises, and prolonged disruption to neighbouring homes.
Why Currie Creek
Q: What is the development plan for Currie Creek?
Currie Creek is planned as a five-phase, 40-home community. Each phase consists of eight homes (two buildings with four homes per building), released strategically to maintain build quality, manage timelines carefully, and minimize disruption to residents and the surrounding resort community.
About Us
Q: What is the ownership structure at Currie Creek?
Currie Creek is a strata development, similar to a condominium, but designed for residential living. You own your individual home (strata lot) and share ownership of common property (landscaped areas, roadways, and visitor parking) with other owners through the strata corporation. Each home has a private entrance and parking, no shared hallways, and an independent living experience, with the strata structure in place to manage shared infrastructure rather than daily lifestyle.
Contact Us With Questions
Q: What are the monthly strata fees, and what do they cover?
Based on Phase 1 (8 units), estimated strata fees are $200-450 per month per unit. Strata fees are subject to change with future phases. This covers snow removal, grounds maintenance, common area insurance, garbage collection, site power, fire monitoring, and strata management fees. Water, sewer, electricity, natural gas, and in-unit maintenance are the responsibility of individual owners.
About Us
Q: Can I rent out my home when I'm not using it?
Yes. With an approved RDEK STR application, short-term rentals are permitted at Currie Creek, and the homes are intentionally designed to support rental use when you’re away. Direct entry, ample parking, end-unit layout, strong sound separation, functional design, and no strata-imposed booking restrictions make these homes well-suited for both personal use and rental income when you're away.
